The Tanger’s surrounding :

The caves of Hercules
(cap Spartel)
According to the Greek mythology, Hercules was resting after he accomplished the twelve tasks. These caves are partially natural. The sea enter here at high tide. Indeed, the people came here to extract the limestone to manufacture the seed millstone. Curiosity of the site: an opening on the ocean where it draws the outlines of an African Map.

Cape Malabata
Following the S704, we can set out for another trip to the cape Malabata. At ten km from Tanger it lays the strange castle of Malabata, which despite its medieval architecture date from the outset of the century. A little further, the terrace of the lighthouse offers a beautiful view on the Tanger Bay and the straits of Gibraltar.
