The exploit of RAA2 permitted to show that the ancient civilisations of the African continent could discover the new world before Christopher Coulomb.
All the world still keep in mind the expedition of eight men who in 17th May 1970 prove that the ancient Egyptians could cross the Atlantic Ocean in the same conditions. This crossing would have last 57 days, relying Safi to the Isles of Barbados on a distance of 6200 km. The evident interest of this fantastic odyssey is the object of the theoretic deductions, relative to the maritime navigation. It represents a fundamental element to reinforce the touristic potential of Safi.
