The
Csabah of Oudaïas :
Overhanging the estuary of the Atlantic Ocean,
the Csabah of Oudaïas dominate the district. The main entree
it is the monumental Bab Oudaïa set up in 1195. It is decorated
with coffin symbols partially deleted and with animal drawings,
which is very rare in Morocco. A little further the museum of
Marrocan Arts from Rabat or Oudaïas Museum is established
in the princely detached house that Moulay Ismail built at the
end of the 17th century. In the three public halls there are exposed
the reconstitution of a moroccan interior, and different collections
including jewels, covers, costumes, musical instruments as well
as valuable Corans and manuscripts. Than we walk in the garden
Andalou and finally we can sit around a table of maure coffee,
famous for its landscape on Salé and on the Ocean.
