Exchange: you will be able to get the dinars only in Morocco. The national currency will be change only in the official exchange offices (with a golden inscription); don’t change in the streets, it’s illegal.
There is no charge and the visitors receive a bill, that you’ll have to preserve till the end of your trip in order to be able to recovert the amont back, if necessary. You can retire money from a bank, with a card or cheques or directly to the ATM in some big cities

Cartes de crédit: there are several cards accepted. Check with your bank the availability of your credit or debit card and the other accessible services.

Traveller’s cheque: it is recommended to take with you traverller’s cheques in euros, in order to avoid any other change commissions and charges.

Currency restrictions: it is prohibited the import and the export of the Morocco’s currency; all the money must be exchange before the departure from Morocco. It is also limited the import and the export of other currencies, and any amount superior to 15.000 DH must be declared.
