After the accord of the future husband and wife, the two families will proceed to the wedding formalities. The parents of the future husband ask the hand of the future wife to her parents. The establishment of the wedding document can be done instantly, but it can also be reported to the moussem. The young husband or his representative offer to the young girl a symbolic present, and her father oblige himself to buy all the cloths for the husband during a year. All the tribe express the joy, participating to the ceremony of wedding, with songs and dancing during five days. The participants enjoy all kinds of traditional plates Aït Hdiddou and particularly different kinds of bread.

If once the wedding was contracted between two families of the same town or same area, nowadays it’s no more the case. The couples forme according to the possibilities offered by the contacts in the social and professional circle but also to the meetings and the affinities between the youngs.
By these means it is decided a future evolution with a trend to generalize all over the country and particularly in cities.

The ceremony of the wedding is generally preceeded, the day before, by that of the henné where only the women of the two families participate. There is a specialiste in design who will draw flour frsco on the bride’s hands and on the legs in order to protect her against the diseases and to warrant the success.
The ffering is represented by the gifts of the future husband to the bride. It varies according to the social position and the areas and are highly symbolic: milk which symbolize the purity and the clearness, dates, sugar for a happy life, flowers, candles.
