Morocco don’t miss in beaches, obviously
being surrounded by two great surfaces of water, which represent
each year destinations for thousands of tourists.
Settong
out from north and in border of the Mediteranean Sea,
the Croissant is a beach situated at east of Tétouan.
It is characterized by the alternance of the Rif mountains
and the sea.
sMore at east, the bay Al Hoceima offers a superbe beach
called the Blue Pearl. It is characterized by its beauty
and by its fine sand. On the Atlantic coast there are
even more beaches but this time they are abrupt and dangerous,
in certain cases. The fishing is a capital economic activity
in Morocco, that generates thousands of jobs. More than
300 000 tones of fish are caught annualy from which 250
000 are sardines. In fact Agadir is the first sardines
port in the world.

Walidyia beach
The seaside resort or the blue pearl is situated at 60 km from
Oujda. It counts only 4 000 inhabitants and it receive a considerable
number if visitors in summer (80 000 in 1980 and more than 200
000 in 1992).

Its beach of fine sand and its ideal climate, during the
second half of the year, make it one of the most beautiful
seaside resort from the north of Morocco. It benefits
of an appreciable image at national and international
level. It is a great interest point. |

Saïdia
|
Possess
a beautiful casbah settled in the 19th century. It is
situated near the river Kiss; natural fronteer who separates
Morocco of Algeria.
We leave Saïdia at west and at the 12th km the mouth
of Moulouya throw itself on the Mediteranean sea. The
Delta formed by the channel flood and the retour of the
waves created areas with varying levels of water, forming
a dead branch with many secondary ramifications. The place
suscite a great ecological interest. It is a famous teritory,
as wintering fireplace for many species of birds. We can
meet here Colver ducks, ashen gooses, water chickens sultan,
etc.

La moulouya Is one
of the main rivers in Morocco. It borns a the heart of the Middle-Atlas
(Ayachi Mountains) covering more than 520 km and crossing several
plains (Tafrata, Sabra and Triffa).
The valley extends sometimes and the channel
may charge the trace. thanks to the two barriers Machraa Hammadi
and Machraa Klila, it allows the irrigation of more than 70
000 ha on the main plains of the Oriental.
