Weather
forecast:
Morocco has two climate areas: the north, relatively
humid, and the south or the desert area. The climate is Mediterranean
with a temperature and wet period (beginning with October until
the end of April) and a dry season (beginning with May until the
end of September). The local variation in temperature is due to
the influence of the ocean, of the desert and of the altitude.
The proximity of the ocean attenuates the temperature gap and
increases the humidity; as we further off the ocean, the thermos
amplitude becomes more important and the dryness more pronounced.
The precipitation increase with the altitude. In the mountains,
the snow is sometimes important and the temperature can decrease
at less 20 degrees.
The variation in climate from one year to another affect particularly
the agriculture. The vegetation is Mediterranean, but in the mountains
we can also find tuyas, holm oaks, cedar trees, juniper trees
lent trees. In the steppes there are Alfa trees, while the south
is the privileged field of the palm trees.
The sun shines more than eight hours by day in Agadir, Fes, Marrakech
and Ouarzazate with an average temperature of 21 degrees.
If it is too hot or too cold you have just to cover several kilometres.
You will pass from snow of the Atlas to the desert of Sahara,
the same day.
